Global Equity has one of the longest track records in the industry in Brazil. The underlying managers have been around for some time starting out as Latinvest Asset Management in 1987 receiving a number of awards over the years evolving to present day Global Equity. There are two Fund options, the more aggressive Global Equity Brazil Stocks and low volatile Global Equity Brazil Multi Strategy. Assets under management for this Fund exceed $1.3 billion.
Global Equity Stocks seeks to generate longer capital appreciation through investments in a limited number of Brazilian stocks of publicly traded companies. These companies are selected based on fundamental analysis, corporate governance standards and future prospective returns. All the investments in BM&F Bovespa will be made through certified stockbrokers. The Global Equity Brazil Stocks fund may invest in quotas of other investment funds managed by the investment manager.
